Hi! I am Ellen!

A little about me: 

I am originally from Georgia but am currently in Texas at Baylor University. I am studying journalism with a minor in ministry.  My dream came true when I made the dance team and it has been such a blessing in my life.  I love to travel and have a heart for missions specifically in Spanish speaking countries, which I hope to lead one day. I love the outdoors and am very passionate about my music taste.  I love deep conversations and talking about how the Lord has moved in my life.

I started In the Word in 2021 when I was a junior in high school. I was sitting on my bedroom floor and felt convicted to start sharing testimonies and devotionals with my peers. I doubted anyone would listen but I chose to obey God and created a private snapchat story with my close friends. My story grew and before I knew it I had over a hundred viewers.  I am a leader and  loved being able to mentor people and teach those who have never even heard of Jesus. 

While I may not be perfect in actions or knowledge, I am confident in my testimony and  what God has revealed to me throughout the years.  I pray you find a devotion that speaks to you and will help you find the confidence you need to start proclaiming the gospel.
